The Living Grid: From Liberated Energy to Collective Resonance

Some artworks arrive as answers. Others emerge as questions that continue to unfold long after the painting is finished.

When I began working on the pieces that would later become When Energy Is Freed from Control, What Remains Is a Trace of Eternity and Living Grid, Wireless Transmission of Consciousness, I was not thinking about Nikola Tesla, exhibition applications, or predetermined themes.

A much simpler question kept returning:

What happens when energy is finally free to move according to its own nature?

For years, my artistic practice has evolved through an exploration of the relationship between matter and movement, between visible forms and invisible forces. Through texture, layers, rhythm, and flow, I investigate the ways energy leaves traces, both in the world around us and within ourselves.

The first work emerged directly from that contemplation.

When Energy Is Freed from Control, What Remains Is a Trace of Eternity reflects a moment when pressure, fear, expectations, or rigid structures no longer trap energy. It returns to its natural flow. What remains is not chaos, but a deeper order. When energy is released from control, it leaves behind a trace, a memory, and a field of possibilities that continue to exist beyond the visible moment.

The work approaches the human being not as an isolated individual, but as part of an intelligent network through which consciousness, impulse, and creative force flow into infinity.

As new layers of texture emerged on the surface of the painting, my thoughts returned to a question that has accompanied me for years:

What if the most powerful forces in life are not those that impose themselves through domination, but those that operate through alignment?

This question naturally leads to Nikola Tesla, not primarily as an inventor, but as a man who understood that the forces shaping our world are often invisible. His greatest legacy may not lie in his inventions themselves, but in the way he perceived reality as a universe of vibration, resonance, and invisible relationships between systems.

That reflection naturally led me to the second work.

The Living Network

Living Grid, Wireless Transmission of Consciousness explores the idea of a living network of people connected through the resonance of pure consciousness.

The inspiration emerged from moments of collective gathering in Belgrade. While observing images of thousands of people gathered in the same place, my attention moved beyond the individuals themselves. It was not the number of people that fascinated me, but the phenomenon unfolding before my eyes.

The feeling that two hundred thousand people could function as something greater than themselves. Not as a crowd, but as a living field of resonance. A living network. A nervous system.

The flowing structures within the painting emerged from that observation. The city gradually dissolved into energetic pathways. Streets transformed into neural connections. Human beings became synapses transmitting impulses through an invisible network.

At that moment, I realized how deeply this image resonated with Tesla’s vision. Tesla imagined a world connected through the wireless transmission of energy. 

Today, I find myself wondering whether humanity may already possess an even more powerful infrastructure. Not one built from cables, towers, and machines, but one built from living beings. A network capable of transmitting courage, awareness, truth, creativity, and transformation. A living grid.

From Vinča to Tesla

My recent artistic cycles have been deeply inspired by the Vinča civilization. Not as a historical subject, but as a model of harmony between human beings, community, and space. A relationship between humanity and nature. Between community and individual. Between matter and spirit.

The more I study both Vinča and Tesla, the more I feel that their deepest legacy is not technology, artifacts, or achievements. I see them as reminders that life advances through connection. Through resonance. Through intelligent relationships between systems.

At a time when fragmentation often appears stronger than unity, both Vinča and Tesla point toward a different possibility. A civilization that grows not through control, but through alignment. Through harmony rather than domination. Through connection and mutual support, rather than through self-oriented success and linear notions of progress.

What if the people gathered within the Living Grid in Belgrade have already opened a space for a society that lives through these very values?

Through this painting, I wanted to establish a conceptual parallel with Nikola Tesla’s vision of wireless transmission of free energy across the planet. Yet here, the force being transmitted is not electricity alone, but consciousness itself, an impulse capable of awakening new forms of collective resonance, connection, and societal transformation.

This work reinterprets Tesla’s vision through the language of contemporary collective consciousness. Living Grid becomes a metaphor for humanity as an interconnected nervous system capable of transmitting truth, courage, awareness, and transformation across the planet.

In this painting, people become the infrastructure, a living network through which the frequency of awakening continues to travel beyond one city, one moment, and one generation.

Continuing the Conversation

I am grateful that Living Grid has been selected for the 2026 exhibition inspired by Nikola Tesla. Yet for me, the most meaningful part of this experience is not the selection itself. It is the opportunity to continue the conversation. A conversation about energy. About consciousness. About the invisible forces that shape both individuals and societies.

And perhaps most importantly, about a question that continues to inspire my work:

What if the most powerful infrastructure humanity has ever created is not built from metal, cables, or machines, but from awakened human beings capable of transmitting truth, courage, and consciousness through the living network they create together?
